Really great location, very safe, near Stephen's Green and museums such as the national Gallery and the Natural History Museum, good pubs and restaurants nearby.
The boiler - situated in the middle of the apartment - makes an incredibly loud noise when using any water and makes the same noise at random times day and night even when one is not using water. We tried to have it fixed but we did not succeed with the host. It therefore was impossible to use water overnight without waking other people. In fact water, boiler and pump were all turned off when we arrived and we had to figure out they needed to be turned on.
