Lo que más nos gustó del hotel fue, sin duda, la comida. Dixon es un cocinero excepcional, amable, respetuoso y con un nivel culinario altísimo; cada plato que preparaba era un auténtico disfrute. El hotel en sí es bonito y muy tranquilo, ideal si lo que buscas es desconexión total. En pleno mes de agosto estuvimos prácticamente solos, únicamente coincidimos con una familia francesa durante tres días, así que la sensación de calma fue absoluta. Es el hotel perfecto para quienes desean relajarse sin actividades ni animación, centrado únicamente en la paz, el entorno y el descanso.

La ubicación del hotel no es la mejor. Exteriormente, más allá de pasear por la playa, no hay opciones cercanas, y el acceso resulta complicado: llegamos de noche y nos fue imposible localizarlo sin ayuda. El personal de recepción y restauración fue correcto, pero echamos en falta un trato más cercano teniendo en cuenta que estuvimos ocho días alojados. No hubo ningún detalle que se saliera de lo estrictamente contratado, y nos habría gustado disponer de alguna actividad extra o una atención más personalizada. En resumen, es un hotel recomendable para quienes buscan tranquilidad absoluta y buena cocina, pero con margen de mejora en accesibilidad, actividades y atención al huésped

An unforgettable experience in paradise! ❤️ My experience at Moayana Liora in Pongwe, Zanzibar, was simply unforgettable. I would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel team for their kindness, attention, and care throughout our stay. I have stayed at many hotels with excellent service, but honestly, I have never felt so loved, welcomed, and cared for as I did here. And what made it even more special was that this feeling came from absolutely everyone, without exception. A very special thank you to Tina, for her sweetness, kindness, and genuine care. Her service was impeccable and made our experience even more special. ❤️ I would also like to thank the entire team for the beautiful candlelit dinner they prepared for my husband and me. It was such an incredible evening, in an unforgettable setting, prepared with so much care that it will remain in our memories forever. And I absolutely have to mention the food! The food was amazing! Everything was delicious, from the flavors to the impeccable presentation of every dish. Congratulations to the chef for the talent, attention to detail, and care that went into every meal. It was truly a wonderful gastronomic experience! As for the location, it is simply paradise. The beach is practically deserted, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. For anyone looking for peace, privacy, and tranquility, this is a wonderful place. It is very different from other parts of Zanzibar, where you are often approached by many people offering tours and services. There is, of course, the matter of the tides, but this did not affect our stay at all. At high tide, you can enjoy the sea; at low tide, you can walk along the entire shoreline, explore the beach, enjoy the pool, or simply walk a few meters further out to enter the sea — the marine life is incredible! For us, it was simply part of the experience and not a problem at all.

Vi var stort set de enestegæster på hotellet og maden var super lækker 👍 Fin seng og mega godt wifi. Der er en kilometer til nærmeste hotel. De ligger uden anden ende af bugten.

Vil anbefale, at man booker ALL inclusive på dette hotel. Vi boede på 6 hoteller rundt på øen og deres drikkevarer var absolut de dyreste, som vi har set. Øl 5 $, frugtjuice 7$, smoothie 8/9 $, drinks/mocktails fra 10$ og op. Vi påpegede at værelset lå tæt på generatoren. Underligt, at når vi var de eneste gæster, at de ikke gav os et andet værelse mod betaling eller ej. Der rendte mange forskellig mennesker rundt på hotellet - ikke alle var ansat. Det virkede nogle gange som om vi boede privat med ejerens gæster rundtomkring. Det var lidt underligt.

Tanto para dizer. Tanto potencial. Tanto detalhe que tem de ser mudado para conseguir ser um Lodge viável. Haja vontade de que manda. O que mais gostei foi dos funcionários. 5 estrelas quase todos eles. Sobretudo o Nourah e os do restaurante. Tão amigáveis....O quarto e a área da piscina são muito bons.

Do que não gostei? Podem ser detalhes, mas aqui não são. A ilha tem problemas de eletricidade? Ok, aceito. O hotel teria de ser capaz de ter um gerador fiável... e não tem. Sem gerador não há luz, não há água na casa de banho/chuveiro, não há restaurante, não há wifi... e não há pagamentos com cartão de crédito. E tudo isto gerou imenso transtorno que a senhora que tratou do check-out foi péssima a resolver. 1o dia quase todo nestas condições e no último igual. E um serviço hoteleiro, mesmo em zanzibar, tem de saber agradar/compensar e não foram capazes. Pedir desculpa e dizer "cortes da responsabilidade do governo" é muito curto.
