Rainy weekend forecasts meant we had to make a last-minute change to our camping retreat plans. This cabin was an easy drive from Kansas City, and the screened porch was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Everything was clean and just as described. I wished I had noticed that it was a charcoal grill, not propane, so that I could have planned better for meals. It was cozy, and fit our needs for a quick revamp.

and was very easy. Everything came before hand to be able to access the property. Kitchen was everything we needed. Wi-Fi works great as we didn’t have any phone service down there, so it was really nice to have this option. We love the morning scenery of the deer who came basically to the porch. Everything worked great, close to the water, with easy access to the boat ramp.

Stay was great. We were just there to visit friends. They came by and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Only thing that was difficult was parking with a boat trailer. The book left at the house said it could be parked down by the boat ramp but we weren’t comfortable with that.

Boat slip and ramp were being repaired, could use another one but it was not as expected. No place on or around property to clean fish….the reason we were there. And there were termites and carpenter bugs on the deck and in the kitchen. Looked pretty clean but it was not a comfortable stay.
