This was an excellent place to book! The property is beautiful, serene, and secluded! It is a perfect place to see lots of wildlife. Jack was an amazing host! He is extremely thorough and has put a lot of thought into recommendations for Yellowstone, a hike behind the cabin, and places to check out locally. Jack was extremely easy to reach and communicate with and we very much enjoyed meeting him as soon as we arrived! The cabin is gorgeous and very clean! It had everything we needed and more. We had the pleasure of seeing a black bear and a beautiful humming bird while we stayed! This cabin is located just over a mile and a half from the NE entrance of Yellowstone and you pass the Stop The Car Trading Post on the was (this is a must stop for ice cream). We saw foxes(with kits), moose, and bears driving to and from the park every day! We would definitely book this place in the future.

Very peaceful setting away from the crowds yet right outside YNP NE gate. It was nice to be so close to Lamar Valley and the cabin provided a wonderful place to come back to after exploring the park each day.

A sweet, clean and comfortable space, super convenient to the friendly town of Silver Gate and wildlife viewing in Lamar Valley. There’s a beautiful view of mountains, moonlight, and friendly foxes from the porch. We enjoyed our time there especially grilling on the porch. The ladder up to the loft is not bad at all, but be aware that adults can’t stand up straight in most of the loft space. And the living space is cozy if you will also have the sofa bed in use.

We adored this spot and the views were incredible! Very close to town and to the park as well. Jack was really responsive to our needs and accomodating. The wildlife we saw nearby (a fox and 2 kits) was a highlight for my kids. We would definitely stay here again.
