La Maddalena is a secluded stone villa set high above the sea on one of the most beautiful and unspoilt stretches of Monte Argentario. The house enjoys spectacular views over the Tyrrhenian Sea, with Giglio and Giannutri islands on the horizon, and offers complete privacy, a private swimming pool, generous outdoor spaces and a private path down to the sea.
The villa is ideal for guests looking for nature, silence, sea views and an authentic Tuscan coastal escape. It is not a resort-style property: it is a peaceful, private retreat surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, pine trees, rocks and sea.
The house has three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a comfortable living area, a well-equipped kitchen and several outdoor spaces for dining, relaxing and enjoying the view. From 2026, all bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, making the house more comfortable during the warmest summer nights.
Outside, guests can enjoy the private pool, sun loungers, shaded dining areas, barbecue and terraces overlooking the sea. One of the most special features of the property is the private footpath leading down to the sea below the villa. The path is steep and natural, so it is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, but it leads to a secluded rocky swimming spot in a beautiful wild setting.
Reaching La Maddalena is part of the experience: the road winds through the hills of Monte Argentario before arriving at a truly panoramic and private place. Once there, it is hard to leave. Guests can swim, explore nearby coves, visit Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, take a ferry to Giglio, or simply stay at the villa and enjoy the silence, the pool and the changing colours of the sea.

As advertised, the views are absolutely amazing. This is the place to be if you want beautiful views, peace, and tranquility. The charming villa is rustic with modern conveniences. We enjoyed home-cooked meals and sitting on the deck under the pergola and the palm tree. The traditional Mediterranean landscaping completes the peaceful scene. Quiet. Easy to relax away from the busy modern world. But close enough to explore Porto Santo Stefano and take the train from nearby Orbetello.

The property was beautifully furnished and in a stunning location. Totally private but not isolated. The garden felt like an oasis of palm trees and olives.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property! The location and views are unbeatable. The house is very well appointed and the private poolIs a dream. Communication and ease of rental was top notch. We will definitely be back!
