The Drifthaven at Gearhart

I loved the comfortable bed, the layout and the fact that there was a stocked mini bar and snacks to purchase should I want to (next time I will)! I also appreciated the breakfast in the morning, which was another complete surprise. I walked to the beach at sunset and it was heavenly. I also very much appreciated that they had dedicated parking spaces for each room. I felt that my car was safe and did not worry about parking because of it. I have been on that street many times and never knew of the Drifthaven's existence but will definitely return for my next business trip (if it allows me to stay one night again).

This is a really well-though out, adorable motel. It's close to a bakery and wine bar and a quick walk to a beautiful, secluded beach. Parking is right in front of your unit. Abby greeted us upon arrival and could not have been more helpful. We rode complimentary bikes and purchased a bonfire package. The grounds of the property are so well-kept and there is a lovely common area with a fire pit and games. There were lots of touches in room to elevate the experience especially the robes, toiletry products and gorgeous bathroom tile. We were given a later check-out which was very appreciated.

Nothing. The bed was very soft and perhaps uneven but we thought it was fine and slept very well.

Everything was perfect

I like the set up.

One of the smoke detectors needed batteries and the staff didn’t replaced it while we were there. While riding the bicycles provided by the hotel, one of the pedals fell off in the middle of our ride. The hotel was 40 minutes walking. We called the hotel for help. But they said they couldn’t help us. We had to stop by a bike shop to repair the pedal. I’m still waiting for my booking charge to be refunded since they charged me through booking and through the hotel website.
