I was SUPER fortunate that when I booked this place I had no idea where my family was staying in San Clemente - and it turned out they were just four blocks away. It was awesome to be able to park my rental car (for free) in the back lot and just walk EVERYWHERE. In my 3 days I became quite the regular at several spots up and down Ave del Mar as well as on El Camino Real (and of course The Fisherman on the pier). I would 10000000% stay here again. It had it all - and was cute to boot!
The ONLY issue I had was the front, main door key pad didn't work a few times. (not exactly sure why) so I had to walk around to the back and use the back stair access door. It didn't work on 3 different occasions and I was definitely using the right door code. LUCKILY there was a second access point. That was my only 'gripe' and it was a small one (and it happens with those types of door codes sometimes).

Unit was super clean and parking was easy for a beach town. Loved the decor and the location was great! Nice having a fridge and toaster oven too.

The location was excellent near shops, restaurants, trolley, beach. The amenities and facilities in the room were upgraded and new. The stairways were shabby and dusty.
There was a previous guest who had not left when we arrived. We were not able to access our room for several hours. There also was NOT a microwave in the room as advertised. Large pothole in parking lot.
