Spacious even when staying with a pet, very warm and cosy feel. The takeaway meals from the pub were exceptional!

My pod was really cosy. I loved sitting on the deck outside, with beautiful scenery all around. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure. A good sized bathroom. I appreciated the toaster. It was all tasteful. Very peaceful and private - the pods are wel-spaced.

I miscalculated and thought I would easily be able to walk into Bowness from the pods. That doesn't reflect on the accommodation. But it really is a place for people with cars. I ended up taking taxis into Bowness and Windermere each day. One beautiful morning, just when I wanted to sit peacefully on the deck outside the pod, (it had been a bit wet the previous day) the lawn mower started up. It really is the noisiest lawnmower imaginable! And there's a lot of grass to mow! I realise it has to be done - & if not during my short stay, then someone else's. I waited a long time, having closed up my pod to try to keep out the noise. Eventually when he got to the grass around my pod and the noise was unendurable, I asked if he could stop for a while so I could sit out on my deck, have lunch, and get out. I felt under pressure to then limit my time on the deck and leave.

Love how cosy the pod feels and the space compared to some I've stayed in this particular one doesn't feel cramped. Has everything you need very roomy and modern. Having a smart TV is a bonus. Love how peaceful it is here as well as just being left to your own devices

Not much to not like, only thing I think would be better for guests is instead of white blinds a dark colour would be better so it's darker in the lighter months in the morning. This isn't a criticism I'm not the best sleeper and sensitive to light.

Only a microwave to use not enough cutlery and plates had to keep washing up to cook and then use to eat off had brought breakfast stuff with me but realised I couldn’t use it no hob wether I overlooked that when booking not sure
