Yiannis is a fantastic host. From time of booking to stay, communication was excellent . The maisonette is extremely comfortable and has been restored to a very high quality which is reflected in the furnishings and toiletry products. This was also reflected in the amazing welcome pack which included fresh fruit, olive oil, honey, biscuits, and Rakomelo (a local drink with honey). However, the star of the pack was the wonderful cake made by Yiannis mother 😁. The hospitality shown by Yiannis and his family was above the norm. We were treated to home made Sfakiani Pies and Kalitsounia from the local bakery. Chania old town is a 20minute walk along the seafront and the area around the maisonette has a good range of restaurants and bars. Excellent beaches are also close by. We found the location ideal for both eating ‘at home’ and out. We would highly recommend and would very stay again if in Chania. Thank you Yiannis and family.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en couple et recommandons ce logement à 100 % ! 😊 Le logement est idéalement situé, très agréable et parfaitement équipé : il dispose de tout le nécessaire, et même bien plus. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié toutes les petites attentions mises à notre disposition : serviettes de plage, parasol, huile d’olive et miel locaux, digestif crétois, sans oublier le délicieux cake fait maison par la maman de notre hôte à notre arrivée. Ce sont vraiment ces petits détails qui font la différence ! Notre hôte a également été extrêmement disponible, réactif et attentionné tout au long du séjour. La communication a été parfaite du début à la fin. Nous avons adoré notre semaine ici et nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain séjour en Crète. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés ! 🇬🇷☀️

Clean, well furnished and decorated

We checked in and then checked out after one hour. The tiny apartment was much smaller than it appeared in the Booking photos and was not suitable for taller people. It was difficult to move around in the bedroom and bathroom. The listing’s images make the place look spacious, but in reality it is cramped. We were also disappointed there was no usable balcony — only a small one facing the street. The parking area felt insecure, with several old damaged cars parked there; we were concerned about the safety of our rental car.
