The staff were particularly pleasant and helpful as I spoke English whilst they spoke French.
They really did go the extra mile to try to solve the issues we had or help us with things like transportation or directions.
We relied a lot on translation apps.
The WiFi was not great. It would occasionally trip off for long periods of time and then reconnect. My advise, roam your internet or have an alternative source.

Fantastic location, great proximity to beach and other locations. Clean, safe and spacious. Good fridge/freezer.
No WiFi - this worked for the first 10mins then stopped working, the staff wanted us to pay extra for a pocket WiFi (WiFi was not listed on the booking.com listing however)
Owner wanted to charge us for electricity usage (this was not communicated prior), after some discussion the owner agreed not to charge us for this.
No kitchen towels (tea towels or paper towels) we had to ask to get two very small bath towels. There are some ants in the kitchen (this is common in Benin but can be dealt with).
TV channels didn’t work at all.
