The location of this place is phenomenal with the views of Lauterbrunnen valley. We stayed here for two nights and we found the best summer weather. We chose to BBQ both evenings. While the chalet is historic and dated, you should be ready to get used to the creaking sounds. But I consider that an essential part of the experience. The hosts were very polite and communicative. The home has all relevant facilities to make your living comfortable.

Great location. Astounding views. Easy check in. Comfortable place. The walk to the chalet from town means peace and quiet. The building is older but in good shape. The balconies with their jaw-dropping panoramas are made even more incredible by the sounds of cowbells, streams, and breezes.

Gorgeous views!!
Hard to find this chalet - no number on the house. The pictures on booking didn’t have even one photo of the house outside, so it took us a while to find it (even when we were right next to it, we were not sure, if that’s the house). The owner told us, that we can’t enter the house past 10:00 pm, even though it was a self check in (the key was in box), so we were in a rush from Zurich to make it before 10:00 pm (our reservation was paid in advance).

The accommodation is homely and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. TV entertainment is well provided. You can happily stay-in to enjoy the outdoor sceneries right in front of you
Perhaps added free laundry facilities if you are to stay longer than 2 days
