The bedroom was fit for an affair or to shoot a porn movie. Luxurious. A big four poster bed and bath. Great views over the river. There is free parking nearby.
This is not a hotel. It’s two large and comfortable rooms over a cafe/bar which are accessed externally. Getting in is difficult as you need two codes and opening the iron gate to get to the external door was hard. The stairs up are winding, very steep and narrow, and there’s no hand rail. At night you are sleeping over an empty building. There is no-one around. The room was cold until I managed to get the radiators on OR they came on automatically in the mid-evening.

"Everything! Rooms were wonderful and good value, staff very helpful and friendly (and patient with our schoolboy French!). Food at dinner and breakfast were lovely."
