Call and asked for early check in. And was provided the option of several hours early for a minimal change, I really appreciate that. The rooms are very close to shopping in town and we were able to walk to were we wanted shop. Very nice restaurant attached to same building and it was very pleasant and relaxing. The name is Decica.

Great location, free parking out front or to the rear. We were given a code for the main door and the door to our room which was so easy. Could check in/check out when you wanted. Lovely clean modern rooms, good curtains, had amazing sleep. Good price for hotel in the city. We will be returning!

It felt very modern and our room was a great size and comfy. It was a relatively short walk to the main part of town but as it was bucketing rain it was a shame there wasn’t some sort of bar in or nearer the hotel. We stayed in and watched the World Cup on the great sized tv across from the bed.
It had recently opened when we went and I think the reception area was still in development so it was a bit confusing finding our room. There were a few fitting tweak they may need to make like the pipe of the sink leaking and leaving the bathroom floor consistently wet. It had the bones to be good once all development work is done and everything is finally quality checked .

It was modern and clean and easy to access because there is no staff
The door slams constantly when high winds. It is Iceland so there are normally winds so it was impossible to sleep they need to fix the doors. The staff clean at 7am so it was constant footsteps and door slams so would not stay here again
