The Farm Shop

It was a wonderful stay at the Farm Shop. Ulf and Usia are kind and attentive hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home and make your stay memorable. You can enjoy wonderful home-cooked meals, freshly prepared by the hosts. Breakfast offers fresh produce and delicious home-made jams and bread, with fresh seasonal fruit from the garden. A warm breakfast freshly prepared is available at extra cost. The room is spacious, clean and fitted with a writing table to work on, which was a great addition. The bed has good bedding and provided a good night's rest. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. We look forward to seeing you again, Ulf and Usia.

Farm gestita da marito e moglie, la loro disponibilità è super e cibo ottimo. La moglie di Ulf è veramente un ottima cuoca e abbiamo molto gradito la cena da lei cucinata. Le marmellate da loro prodotte e che ci hanno offerto a colazione sono le migliori che abbia mai assaggiato. Ulf è veramente un signore che ti mette a proprio agio e ti fa sentire a casa. Posto essenziale ma molto pulito e ben tenuto.

Tutto ottimo, peccato per i cuscini del letto che erano troppo alti e scomodi.

The rooms were very clean, and the host gave us a free upgrade. The rooms were nice and spacious.

The breakfast included was a European breakfast, if you wanted anything extra, you paid for it. You also paid for using the air-conditioning. In all my travels in Namibia, it was the first place that I had to pay extra for it I understand that it is a working farm, but if you have a B&B, then you need to make sure that there is running and hot water in the morning. Also, this is a cash only facility, so make sure you are aware of it before you book.

Staff were excellent, property was good

The owner was not welcoming and actually quite rude & ignored us until we had to pay & then proceeded to overcharge us significantly for washing. It completely soured the experience.
