Enigmatic Boutique Hotel

This hotel boutique was a gem find . After so much deliberation between my friend and I trying to find a decent hotel, my friend came up trumps with this beautiful hotel. I liked the surrounding of the hotel, the relaxing area with music playing in background. The small plunge pool, the decor of the hotel, nice staff, Location was excellent , 10-15 mins to La Isla mall , night life and beaches. OXO just 3 mins from hotel, plenty of restaurants around.

I didn’t like the fact that the breakfast area played the music very loud at 07.20 in the morning as some rooms were overlooking the restaurant. So basically having sleep deprivation. Pool had leaves in so couldn’t swim however having a plunge pool more than a swimming pool made up for it. My bedroom door did not lock from the inside so anyone can walk right in but it locked from the outside. So had to barricade my door with a suitcase at night. Did report it but no one fixed it. Then the taxi driver broke my suitcase handle on arrival was not a great start at first. But staff and hotel made up for it.

This hotel is fabulous for the price. Our 2 king bedrooms were huge and very nicely furnished with excellent air-con. The Pool area is great not just a exposed pool, rocks, waterfall etc in greenery. The restaurant is great. People were coming from outside to eat there, not just guests. Japanese/Mexican influenced with a seafood emphasis. We ate outside buy the pool under the trees. There is also a cafe with proper espresso coffee machine. The free breakfast was simple and nice, fruit, eggs and other options, coffee in whatever type you desire. A quiet little upscale neighborhood. We only stayed one night before flying out of Cancun. We would have been happy to stay longer. We certainly would go back. The airport was a 20 minute drive. We could park on the street right by the hotel entrance.

Cute hotel tucked away in a neighborhood . The pool is super cute .. lagoon like . The couple that runs the breakfast were very accommodating.

Some moron was chain smoking but that’s not their fault !!
