Such a lovely accomodation owned by the nicest local family, they’ve been hosting guests for over 20 years. They’re super knowledgeable about this area of Nias, the surrounding businesses and the local surf community. Location is amazing for watching the surf …. Great food especially Ivo’s speciality BBQ’s ….. Awesome coffee …. Big air conditioned private rooms. The family goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I really enjoyed my time at shady palms, highly recommend. Great value for the price!

Great location, right infront of the point. Access to the balcony which looks out over the surf. Super comfy bed and good AC with hot showers.
Mama and her family were so welcoming and helpful for any of our questions. Amazing smoothie bowl too! Thanks for everything!
WiFi signal in the back rooms wasn’t very strong but good WiFi in common areas.

Great staff and location, the family can organise everything- scooter, surfboards, taxi… and have a great cappuccino and a little market inside. Good view of the point
Bathroom needs a little TLC
