Close to the tram with 2 great bakeries/ coffee shops and other restaurants within walking distance.The walk is uphill. The unit is very clean with a well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. The view was spectacular. We didn't use the TV so can't comment on that. Wi-Fi was excellent. And the owners respond immediately to any inquiries.

The bathroom is very small. The shower was also tight with a hand held sprayer not an overhead showerhead and there is no place to put your soap other than on the floor. The bathroom is also missing a bath mat to step out onto after a shower. The sink is very small and for shaving the mirror is over the toilet not the sink . It just makes shaving awkward. The kitchen needs a microwave. It does have a hotplate but for travellers who want to warm up a coffee or food, a hotplate isn't sufficient. The unit is on 3 floors which while compact has a lot of narrow stairs with no stair railing on the top section. For senior travellers this is a problem. Also the sleeping area (while the bed is very comfortable) is tight. With a queen sized bed there is not much room on the sides to move around meaning one person must climb over the bed to get to their sleeping position. It's fine for the second person. There is only a side table on one side for phones, glasses etc. If you had a medical emergency it would be difficult for paramedics to get you out.

Good communication from host RE checking in. Easy to find and actual parking on site as advertised (a rarity with private lets on Booking.com). Really nice, quiet area, and short easy walk to the tram, again, exactly as advertised. Lovely view from the windows looking out over Oslo too. Host provided good info about public transport apps etc too which was handy.

Whilst area was quiet, there was quite a lot of noise from next door, mainly some kind of moaning, I think maybe a child or something, possibly someone with some kind of issue, I don't know and I didn't want to ask as obviously there isn't anything they can do about it, but just be aware there will be some odd sounds. The beds are single beds upstairs and there isn't any point putting them together as they slide on the floor really easily and you will just slip down in the middle of the night. This could be fixed by attaching hooks to either ends of the bed legs so they can be clipped together. Because the house is 3 floors and quite narrow, the upstairs where the bedroom is can get very, very hot, even while we had all the heaters turned off as you're attached to the house next door and if they have the heating on then the space gets warm anyway, so you have to open all the windows basically to cool it down, which is fine while we were there in spring and it was still quite cold out, but in summer I expect it will get quite sweaty. The bathroom window looks right out into the road in front at eye level so you have to have the kind down when using it or people will see you as the glass isn't frosted or anything, so we just left it down the whole time. Also the bathroom shower doesn't have a holster for the shower head so you have to hold it in your hand the whole time to shower properly, which could be easily fixed by getting a suction cup shower holster (something we've seen before in other similar cubicles in other properties).
