HamEl Guest House

Everything. What a warm and hospitable family. We came to Odzun starving and they immediately whipped up quite the dinner for us. The facilities are fantastic. A large living room and kitchen with a large dining table, a beautiful garden outside, and a comfy bedroom with king size bed and private bathroom. But most of all the kindness and hospitality were amazing. The taxi driver they arranged for sightseeing was very reasonable and took us to viewpoints that we wouldn't have known about. Same with the son who drove us to Dilijan. He stopped at the church and took us to upper Horomayr so we could see the cliffside caves. They all made sure we had a fantastic time.

The only thing we had difficulty with was finding the place. It wouldn't show up on Google Maps or Yandex. Our taxi driver had to stop several times to ask. We began getting a big worried but eventually the son of this family happened to drive by and we were able to follow him.

The place is nice and the family is very kind. They cooked some food for dinner and breakfast.

We would have preferred to know the price of the food before eating. We had the impression they decided the price during the check out and not before. Apart from that the price was right for the place and what we ate.

We had a great stay at HamEl, although we only stayed one night. The place is really peaceful, with an amazing and relaxing garden. The hosts prepared for us an amazing genuine dinner.
