Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Extremely peaceful, a very nice experience

Never again- a bad time

The location is good for walking into Perranporth.

We are beyond disappointed with this property. In fact we contacted booking.com at check-in to ask to leave but they never responded to us. It simply wasn't for us and having come from a hotel in another seaside town which cost less and provided more, we were flabbergasted. If you're travelling with elderly people, or anyone with accessibility needs, this property is NOT for you. When we arrived, plug-in air fresheners were on in two rooms. The smell was overwhelming and made me unwell. We had to turn them off, which then made the smells of damp (particularly in the Kitchen cupboards) apparent. As 4 adults (two elderly), not one of us fitted in the shower for which you have to be under 5ft 5. This height restriction was not mentioned and had we known we would not have booked it. The door frame for the bathroom is also very low, along with the hanging lamps in the lounge, and were constant hazards. The bathroom was tiny and 2 of us got burns from the towel rail while trying to use the toilet. Again, not suitable for us and wouldn't have booked if the information was clear. The mattresses on the beds are about 3 inches deep and very uncomfortable - more like memory foam toppers. The pillows in the second room were balled up and ragged and need replacing. The WiFi was really poor which made it impossible to work there - or enjoy the television which was streaming and would crash every 30 mins. The outdoor space is AstroTurf and smells badly of fish - we googled this and it can be from not cleaning pet urine from artificial grass. There's a hammock and outside sofa with cushions which were all left outside so were soaking wet and unusable the entire 3 days of our stay. As a note for others, the parking access is narrow and tricky if you're in a bigger vehicle. We drive a VW van for accessibility reasons - it would fit but was a pain. It's not recommended if you're in a car bigger than a golf or you're not confident at...

Clean and contemporary yet still cosy and comfortable. Can't wait to return!

A lovely relaxing break, close to the shops and beach but still very peaceful. The annex is clean and contemporary but still cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a great powerful shower, unusual in many places we have stayed! It was lovely to have some private outside space too with the added bonus of a very comfy hammock and a private parking space. Rebecca was very accommodating with our check in which really helped when travelling with a dog and a baby. We will definitely return 😃

The only downside for us was the bathroom door! It is very low and my husband bumped his head several times. There is a sign but it's not above the offending door! The welcome biscuits were a really lovely touch and not to seem ungrateful but a pint of milk instead would have been really useful to make a cuppa upon arrival after a very long drive. These are only minor things and I really couldn't fault our stay. Thank you
