The property is really well located with Akabane being a main station there was always an abundance of trains to take all over Tokyo. The surrounding area also had plenty of food options, some grocery stores, second hand stores, plenty of paid car parks and a park you can walk through to get to the station. The accommodation itself is clean, modern and the AC/ heater unit worked really well so we were never cold. There is a washing machine and washing up powder provided which is super useful. There is a water heater/ kettle which made making warm drinks lovely. There is also a tabletop stove, microwave and large fridge/ freezer. So overall it is very well equipped. Hosts were 10/10 in terms of responsiveness (they type in Japanese so Google translate will be your best mate) and even provided a free gift (soap & wallet) for leaving a review :)

The front door is quite peculiar in that you must turn the lock the correct way (can't remember if it was left or right) but even if you enter the correct code to an unknowing person we thought we couldn't get in when we checked in at 11pm which caused a bit of a stir but it's not the host's fault. There is also only a narrow stairway to get into our apartment with a separate unit also for rent below this apartment.. if you somehow meet at the doorway with the guests below it is a ball ache and a complete battle of shoe space to get in and out of the place. And it goes without saying that since there's an apartment directly below you one should be mindful of their movements at night. It is very compact. It houses up to 5/6 people but honestly to live comfortably I would say 3/4 people is more ideal due to the fact that there is no general lounging area, only one bathroom (toilet and shower in one room), a small hallway for the kitchen and no door for the single Japanese style floor bedroom. All kitchen utensils provided were plastic which isn't preferable but not that big of a deal.

コスパは良いです。また、周辺施設(コンビニ)など近場にあったのでたすかりました。

ユニットバスや部屋の衛生面で少し残念でした。ユニットバスのカビや部屋の掃除がきれいでしたらもっといいと思いました。

駅までも近く、周りは住宅街で静かでした。部屋も広く、簡易キッチンもついていたので、ゆっくり過ごせました。 また、洗濯機が回せたのは本当に助かりました。

2階の宿泊者さんと同じ玄関だったので、その点が気になりました。 ２日目の朝にトイレットペーパーがなくなり、備蓄も探したのですが、なかったときに、連絡していいか迷い、結果流せるウェットティッシュを購入しました。トイレットペーパーは予備を置いておいてもらえると助かります。
