Location for us was good. We did not have a car so it was easy to get to train station or bus station. All areas of Shanklin were within easy walking distance for us. When not cooking in the flat there were 3 takeaway places also within walking distance. There were hills to walk to get to some of the location and a couple of stairs to get to the flat so would not suit everybody.
The flat was well stocked with kitchen cleaning cloths, washing up liquid etc. I personally would have liked some salt and pepper. (Well you did ask) as this keeps and would have been helpful when cooking in the flat. We were very lucky to get some beautiful weather on our stay. Upstairs got very warm. There was a fan downstairs however I ended up taking that upstairs. One for each floor would have been useful.

Richard was incredably proactive when we had trouble conneting to the internet. Sorting it very quickly, visiting on a very wet and windy evening.
The weather.

The location was excellent
The oven did not work, so the fresh meat and fish we took with us had to be thrown away
