The location was excellent

Nothing to do with the property but car parking was a nightmare .

Comfortable apartment with cooking facilities.

Would have been better if there was wifi. We struggled to get phone signal so wifi would have been useful.

The location was brilliant. Not too central but only a couple of minutes walk to the shops and pubs etc. Quiet street off the main road into Bowness. A lovely welcoming pub just around the corner. The property had everything we needed and it was lovely and cosy. Someone had written a bad review so was apprehensive about staying but the things they complained about didn't affect the stay. There are shutters on the windows which do let light in if pushed downwards but if you push them upwards there is no light. Excellent value for money and I will book the property again. Parking is limited outside but I managed to grab a spot on the first morning. A lovely hidden gem.

There wasn't anything I could really fault but maybe the bathroom could be updated? The bathroom served it's purpose and the shower was lovely and hot.

The leak that happened from the upstairs apartment shower. I contacted the out of hours emergency number who called me back within 15 minutes. I assume either they were moved or it was fixed as there was no recurring issues. This has happened before as there were damp and water stains on the ceiling. There was a damp patch on the wall under the window. I noticed the corners of the rooms were dusty and the stones in the bedroom fireplace were really full of dust and a few dark hairs too. Found dark hairs in the bathroom too. I was a bit surprised that there was only one toilet roll. Obviously I was able to purchase more at the local supermarket.
