The Sheiling is a lovely cosy and comfortable holiday home. We loved the beautiful views from the living room window and enjoyed the excellent location which allowed us to easily visit the local beaches and loch. The kids loved the garden and being able to see the steam train at Arisaig and Morar Stations. Our dog loved playing on the beach. The Sheiling had everything we needes for a great long weekend.
It was all perfect. The owners have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable and allow them to enjoy their stay.

Perfect location and very comfortable home for a relaxing stay. The views are stunning and the garden has lovely sun spots where you can take it all in. Spectacular sunsets and a glimpse of the aurora one night.
Frida our Spanish Water dog had a wonderful time - all the beaches met with her (and our) approval. The one at the end of the road was a favourite, we had it to ourselves.
The advice from the hosts was very welcome particularly regarding obtaining fuel as the Mallaig petrol station is being refurbished and the nearest station for petrol is currently Fort William - quite a long drive away.
We can recommend the Tea Garden and the Crab and Creel fish restaurant in Mallaig.
Going home - we would like to return.
