Two week stay during August 2020. Family of 4 adults and 2 young children. Petite Maison was well equipped, clean and modern. Bathrooms all good. The swimming pool and gym were absolutely superb - it's done on a covid rota between the two properties on site (am/pm, alternating). Communication with Dorn was quick before and throughout. Only downer was some pretty horrible guests in the adjoining larger property for a party, but this was for 2 nights only and probably not ideal for the owner either. On the other hand, we had a free run of the place for most of the 2 weeks as it was only booked out for the weekends during our stay. Would recommend owners replace the curtains in the top room as they don't keep out much light. The location is very quiet, which suited us. It is in the middle of a huge arable area with cows, so there can be some flies - just bring an electric tennis bat fly swatter and they're easily dealt with! Compromise of the countryside sometimes, which we were happy to make. Lots of wildlife - herons, buzzards and kestrels on every walk. The town, Desertines, is too far to walk but we never went in apart from for bread as we kept ourselves to the property and cooked bbqs etc. You need to go early or arrange for them to reserve - otherwise you have to drive the other way again to another boulangerie - but there's no traffic at all so it doesn't take any time. Domfront nor Fougeres are far and are very nice to name a couple of towns, but there's plenty to go and see that's not far. Just a shame that we visited during Covid so didn't get to go out as far as we would have liked. All in all, it's thoroughly recommended.

After many confusions with the owner about the rental we finally had an amazing stay with all of our friends in Le Moulin. Premises are very spacious, the pool and jacuzzi were welcome for a relaxing time and the garden in front of the house was perfect for a sunbathing session. We truly recommend this place.

Le moulin avec ses belles chambres offre de très belles prestations. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés c'est vraiment top. 1h de rennes et du mont saint Michel 1h20 de saint Malo.

We (two families with children [ages 6, 6, 3, 1, 0] from the UK) passed a really nice two weeks at this property. It's unique - very large and with lovely big rooms. The kids loved the games room and the projector room the most, also enjoying the pool at the courtyard. The adults loved the amount of space and the solid construction meaning that we could meet when we wanted to meet but also enjoy quiet time without disturbing the household. Very well equipped kitchen. The property is located near some terrific towns and cities. We managed to visit St Malo, Fougeres, Fougerolle du Plessis, Mayenne, Gorron, Ernee and Domfront! Each town with its own individual attractions. The team was accommodating, providing us with two cots for the babies and arranging a linen change in the middle of our visit. Overall, a very pleasant way to spend a couple of summer weeks!
