Bresoles Hotel

Clean, quiet, lots of storage for unpacking, nice kitchen, the terrace (room 501) was pretty cool. We used it a few times. The terrace on the sixth floor was great. Better views than the 5th floor. Old Montreal is beautiful. Washer/Dryer was so useful!

The only issue was not being able to open the trash chute. Our code budding work so we tied the bag and left it by the door (inside)

It was in a great location in old Montreal but on a quiet street. There was one tiny issue in the bathroom but they fixed it almost immediately.

Not much.

We stayed in 305, a HUGE 1 Bed, Studio Suite. Everything was super clean including all the dishes, glasses, and utensils in the kitchen - we're used to having to rewash everything before using. Bed was super comfortable, full control of a mini-split HVAC on the wall meant we could actually make it comfortable for ourselves to escape humid days outside and get some rest at night. This room has everything you need to live comfortably for as long as you need and the building is really cool with murals, stone walls, etc. The room itself had double doors to the street below which were safely wired to only open a couple inches, with a historic, European vibe. Even though it opened to a busy street, it was totally silent inside at night. Best hotel sleep we've had anywhere, maybe ever. Not a single bug or insect inside the room. A nice touch was being able to do a load of laundry after a few days right in our room with the supplied washer pods. Also did a load of dishes and everything came out spotless. The area where this hotel is located might look initially questionable to some as the entry door is in a corner on a side street, but it quickly became obvious that it's a super safe area and we never saw a single questionable person. It's literally block away from streets with every kind shop and restaurant you would want to walk to. We bumped into Phaisal who worked there a few times over our stay and he was friendly and always checked if we needed anything to make our stay better.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. If I had to nitpick, maybe a TV across from the bed in case we felt like curling up to watch something there? This really wasn't an issue for us because the living room area at the other was super comfortable.
