The receptionist found a solution for us regarding a problem they had with our booking. Also, they helped us with the luggage transportation.
Too many flies inside the room. I understand the area is full of flies but they could do something about it.

The accommodation was decent, considering the options in Ollantaytambo, although I felt the overall Booking score was a bit overly optimistic. It has a nice yard and a very good location, close to the center but in a quiet area.
The main issues were cleanliness and communication with the reception. The floor wasn’t cleaned properly, and even after we asked them to clean it, the next day the staff came in with their shoes on while changing the towels and left dirty footprints again.
They also offered to arrange transportation to the train station and provide a breakfast box because we had to leave at 5:30 a.m., but even if they confirmed we didn’t get either of them. No help would have been better than setting the wrong expectations. It really ruined our morning because we relied on their help and didn’t make other arrangements ourselves.
