Great location, 30 mins drive to Pisa and great beaches, Pontadera for groceries and the train to Florence and Lucca was accessible too. The location is beautiful and silent at night. The house is absolutely lovely, a classical Tuscan villa which feels like it is steeped in history, it's an experience in itself. Our 3 children loved it and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owners were very quick to help with anything and messaged me with recommendations of places to visit. They were friendly and so welcoming. The house was exceptionally clean. We are going to recommend the property to friends and family, and we would absolutely return as it is a home from home. Just be aware that there is €100 cleaning charge + tourist tax + utility bills to pay at the end.

Only two very minor comments. The bed in the master bedroom wasn't very comfortable, I think the pillows and mattress must be harder than I'm used to BUT it didn't prevent me from sleeping. There are a lot of shield bugs that end up on the walls and floors. This is no reflection on the cleanliness, they arrive naturally similar to the ladybirds/spiders we have in the UK. However if you really don't like any insects it may be a problem.
