The location of the property was fantastic. The backyard was great as we had sunshine.

The property wasn’t well maintained. The garden untidy and hot tub dirty and not usable which was disappointing as it was one reason why we booked the house. The toilet didn’t work and basin upstairs leaking. Contacted the owner and told not to use it! No hand towels in bathrooms We were 5 couples who had traveled from Australia.

We were for a family 40th birthday there were 6 adults and 4 children It is a great big house clean and comfortable.in a central location easy walking distance to bea ch and town. Has a large safe enclosed garden for children to play in. Lots of character about the building although modernised retains its age

Very spacious, incredibly well kitted out (the kitchen was a dream!) and truly beautiful location. As a group of friends with small children, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday together - close to the beach, to castles and to the ferry for Arran. Steve, our host, was so helpful too. Wonderful place.

Beautiful house in an ideal location. The garden has ample seating for everyone and the hot tub was nice and clean, easy to use.

There is no guestbook, so instructions on the hot tub cover removal, hot tub, central heating, immersion heater shower, cooker, hot tap, air fryers etc don't exist. Hosts did not respond to questions over the stay. No tea or coffee provided on arrival, no toilet roll in all bathrooms, basic cooking spices also missing (pepper, oil, any sauces). Towels were not full size and didn't really work to use in a group of friends without flashing everyone. Considering the price, there was no luxury, mattresses worn and duvets basic, nothing was really provided to make it more comfortable during the stay, and whole property was a bit uncomfortable for us to stay in for the three nights.
