We liked the Old English, Victorian vibe. Parking across the road. Access point to the tourist buses, just out front. Bedrooms were a good size. Kitchen was well fitted.
Main bathroom is dangerous. Shower is inside a raised bath with no handle to grip making the exit over bath to low floor dangerous. On top of that the shower (water access) is positioned in the bath area without any grip on the floor- I fell completely out of the shower bruising my back badly. Secondly, smell of dog urine in entry court yard is unpleasant. Lastly, couches needed steam cleaning.

Really nicely laid out
The only thing was it was very warm and turning down radiators didn’t seem to make much difference

A lovely and tastefully decorated apartment. Well equipped. Nice to find a bottle of wine and teacakes left for us. There was a nice view from the front of the sports field. Good coffee shop. The deli up the road has superb shortbread cooked on the premises.
Easy to park opposite
Bus stop outside so easy to get into the centre.
A very relaxing place to stay.
I would prefer to have known sooner how you got into the apartment. It made me a bit anxious not to find out until the last minute.
Some of the kitchen pots we wanted to use were not clean.
We have learnt before at other places we have stayed at there is a hidden draw in the kitchen draws so we did find the knifes and forks but it might be worth there being a label on it.
It was the Fringe so like all of Edinburgh expensive to stay

Location for us was good. Bedrooms and lounge were fairly quiet and comfortable. Communication and welcome was good.
Bathroom layout was terrible and the bathrooms are very tired.
