Owner replied promptly to questions prior to arrival and provided a very helpful overview upon checking in. Was very clear they take excellent care of the property and want their guests to have an enjoyable, trouble-free stay. Pictures on the website were fully accurate and helpful in planning ahead on how best to use the house since we had 3 generations of our family staying there. Views of the lake really are outstanding. Enjoyed early coffee and quiet time at sunrise on the dock, dinner at the outdoor table, lawn games out front, and relaxing on the porch rocking chairs at sunset always taking in the panoramic beauty. We put the dock to good use including an overnight pontoon rental (sunset cruise!) and of course lots of swimming. Beach was perfect for grandsons to play & swim in shallow water with light waves and building sandcastles. Also put the 4 kayaks to good use every day (just be careful on weekends with lots of powerboat traffic on the lake). Took advantage of the well-stoked kitchen with lots of cooking... different meals every night. Beds/bedding were very comfortable. Individual room climate control was invaluable as we had lots of different preferences that a single thermostat would not have accommodated. Didn't need to bring towels (including beach towels) or sheets. This made packing much more manageable. Our 5 kids (all grown now) discuss their memories of annual family vacations and all agreed this was the best place we've stayed.

This property was beautiful and extremely well kept. Host was always available, extremely helpful, and just a very nice guy! This experience made the stay with my family one of our best ever. Would not hesitate to give it my highest recommendation.

Really have only positive comments about Lucky Duck, the owner and the support team. Great location on Gaston, clean, well supplied, well cared for, comfortable, relaxing, and flexible. Thank you for a great week!

Amazing property with so much attention to detail. The Host was super courteous and helped make our stay great.
