Great stay, great communication, definitely a cozy little cottage

Excellent

Cozy and cute! Easy to get to with off-street parking, and comfy bed! Bathroom is tiny, but worked great for our overnight stay.

This home is owned by a company with several properties in the area. The host communicated with us daily. However there are several things that could be improved upon.We arrived around 5pm in December so it was dark. The carport and entry were not shoveled and the exterior light wasn't on. So we fumbled with keys and cell phone flashlights in frigid temps. We entered the house to a tiny half moon rug and there was no light switch to be found. Its on a small string on a ceiling light that we couldn't access until we took off our shoes.Once inside the home was warm with plenty of pillows, nice bedding and almost sufficient kitchen items. There were 2 forks and only big spoons. No teaspoons. There is also a Keurig and not a coffee pot, but they did have off brand K-cups. The microwave is on top of the full size fridge so we had to stand on a chair to use it.The floors are extremely uneven and some of the floor boards have broken edges, making it easy to catch a sock or slipper on. There were plenty of towels but no hand soap in the small bathroom and the mirror was over a vent and barely hanging on the wall. The shower is tiny. The bed was wonderfully firm but the TV a bit low to watch from the bed.And yes, as other reviews had mentioned the furnace is extremely loud! Its sounds like you're inside a plane taking off. But the whole house was warm. The location is quiet and just a bridge crossing to downtown Duluth. Very convenient.
