The house was perfect! Great ocean view for sunrise, sunset and all day long.

As the title implies we were there for photography with birds being our primary targets. The house served excellently for that purpose. It is centrally located to many famous Texas birding hotspots and we were well served by it. The accommodations were excellent and the beautiful Gulf Coast beach is directly in front of the house. We could take pictures of coastal birds from the balcony without leaving the premises. The house seems relatively new and all the amenities worked perfectly. We had no complaints and recommend it without reservations.

A very enjoyable stay. Able too relax and have a great time.

Very cute place with an amazing view!! My friends and I spent most of our time sitting on the deck, either in the nice, big chairs provided by the owner or around the table, playing cards or having our meals! The weather couldn’t have been better when we went—constant, cool breeze off the ocean! I will say, that unlike most VBRO places my friends and I have stayed, this place was less equipped with complimentary items like k-cups for the Kurig or shampoo, conditioner and bath soaps. We also found odd that a place right on the beach requested that guests bring their own beach towel. That wasn’t an issue for us particularly, as we never got into the water more than dipping our feet and we primarily stayed on the deck admiring the view of the ocean as opposed to sitting on the beach with a towel. Nice grocery store close to the house and there was an excellent place to eat, Stingaree’s nearby. Overall, the place was great and we would definitely consider staying at this place again if we return to Crystal Beach for the view alone.

This was a great place to getaway for a few days. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Galveston area and I’m very impressed at the cleanliness of the beaches. This house was perfect and the deck was amazing for relaxing and listening to the waves. We will definitely return.

It was truly the best. The property was in absolutely the best shape of any house I've rented through VRBO. Even the nice ones always have some little something or somethings that you excuse and just manage but not this one. Perfect set up from both coffee pot and Keurig in kitchen to the power strips on each side of the bed in bedroom. Everything you could need was there and everything was so tasteful. My kids got there early and were allowed to check in early - realize that can't always happen. I was concerned about restaurants and how much we might have to ferry into Galveston but that was not the case. My husband and I have decided that we prefer this area to others where we have stayed. We had a great stay! There is plenty of room inside and out! The shower downstairs mDe rinsing off the kids super easy! The beach is nice and quiet and never got crowded! We look forward to coming again!
