Quiet…festive decor

This was a great place right on lake Wylie. The room was clean and well kept, but did not have a lake view. There was even a band on the beach on Saturday night.

We had a wonderful time at the resort. Nice view of the lake and comfortable lounge chairs on the private beach. The "Tiny" house was neat and much better than staying in a room at a hotel. We plan on returning at a later date.

Quaint little spot with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere! Although we didn’t have time to spend exploring all the resort had to offer, our tiny home studio was amazing! We’ll definitely reserve again!

We arrived super late the first night but we awoke to a GORGEOUS view the next morning. It was quiet, peaceful and a sense of calmness when opening our door to the peaceful serenity of the lake. You could hear nature all around. Our cabin was clean and in tip top condition when we arrived as well. 10/10 recommend!!

Beautiful cabin very quiet. Cabin was more than what I expected. Would recommend this place a 1000 times. Very quiet clean and soothing.

I decided to take my kids to a lake trip 1 hour away from my house on a whim. I got there at 3pm and told the front desk of the deal I saw on hotels.com. They couldn't honor the same price in the office, so I booked it online and came back in with a confirmation. She said she didn't see the payment come through so charged me again. She said she'd refund it if there were 2 charges. Traveling with 2 kids, I did agree to this because I didn't want to drive all the way back home. As soon as I entered the "private beach" There were unattended kids (about 10) shouting profanity and throwing bottles everywhere. I went to the office that was supposed to b open til 6 and it was 520, but no one was there to discuss issues with the kids or the double charge I saw go through. I went back to my house and their were cop cars and later that evening no running water or wifi. I left at 6 am in the morning and complained to hotels.com and the resort. They refunded my extra charge but not for the stay. Any company would refund or even notify of a water outage but this was not met with that response. Apparently my issues happen quite often and to several others, and they rip people off by selling something they do not offer as well as being rude in the process of being confronted. Or, they don't respond at all. It was definitely a very sad and infuriating experience especially with 2 small kids in two. I know that hotels.com said its not refundable, but this is a bit over the line.

I felt like some things could have been better....but overall was pleasant.

Overall this was a nice spot. It was good for a single day staycation. I must say that the taxes/fees were nearly as much as the nightly rate, but what can you do. Aside from that, I had 4 issues; 1 kind of major. We had 2 vehicles, and we were charged for 1 car, the pool is under renovation, so good luck with that, there were bottles scattered in a couple places, but it was a Friday night, so I get it. The major issue I had was the sewage smell emanating from our tub/bathroom. I believe this could've been an issue with the trap, so I reported it, but the office didn't seem too excited or motivated to look into the matter. The smell was very noticeable, but only after the water was running... hopefully I wasn't washing in gray water. 😬

Loved this cozy lakeside retreat! You definitely feel luke your "glamping" and it was so much fun! Watching the sunrise/sunset on the deck was my favorite part. I would recommend for a family reunion to rent out multiple cabins or a romantic getaway.
