Excellent stay would’ve been good to know ahead of time that there was no on site parking everything else was outstanding

Great hotel! Great location! Easy walking distance to restaurants, parts campus and my daughter’s apartment. Staff was friendly & helpful. Beds were comfy.

The room we stayed in was so cute and nice

Beautifully appointed hotel in the center of UVA; however, there were some significant challenges. Problem 1: Parking. Parking was problematic, really non-existent. If you are going to stay here - utilize Uber/Lyft because there were more parking enforcement officers than spaces. Problem 2: NOISE! The hotel is adjacent to a railroad track so at least twice during the sleeping hours of midnight to 7am we heard (and felt) freight trains passing through. Also, we were on the ground level and heard tons of foot-stomping and general movement from our neighbors above. Overall a nice hotel. When I went to formally check-out at 1030, the front lobby was locked and a sign on the door said be back at 2pm....huh?

Absolutely adorable, clean and such a comfy bed! It was an easy walk to UVA medical too!

We loved the decor of this charming small hotel in Charlottesville near the university. Clean and conveniently located on a quiet street. We even had a record player and some LPs provided in our room.

This is a super cute hotel in a great location at a fair price. I loved it! However, at two in the morning, I thought the world was coming to an end! In my sleepy stupor, it took me a few minutes to realize it was simply a very long and very loud train passing by somewhere very nearby. The room literally shook! I was able to easily get back to sleep, so all was not lost. This place would be five stars without the train line. Even with the with train, it is still a super cute hotel, exceptionally clean, with a friendly staff.

Extremely clean, wonderfully styled retro hotel. Fantastic service and great breakfast from the food truck out front. Perfect location for our tour of University of Virginia.

Finding a parking place is very difficult. The staff were very nice and excellent, and I love the decor. There was an open house the night that we were there and it was very noisy so I noticed that the rooms are definitely not sound proof.

This is a terrific motel. They did a great job, renovating an old motel and making it very cool. I think it might not be great for extended stay. It was wonderful for one night.

I ended up at Little Mod Hotel after a horrendous snafu by Expedia. They were super helpful in getting me into my room as soon as possible on very little notice. This boutique hotel is the best parts of mid-century mod, with all the function and comfort of today. The area is very walkable with Main St. only a block and a half away.

Perfect spot on Corner to walk to Grounds, but quiet/little street noise

Very cute little hotel, nicely renovated. Adorable Airstream taco truck in front! Sadly it’s surrounded by frat houses. Very noisy well into the night.

This is a motel and not a hotel. It’s very cute and really clean. However…There’s a very long train that rolls through in the middle of the night rattling windows and making all kinds of racket. Also we scheduled cleaning each day and no one ever cleaned.

Cute renovated motel. Friendly staff, easy check-in, cute rooms with record players and other retro fitting. Located in the middle of UVA and near the train tracks it’s extremely noisy, students out partying late, trains passing loudly. Also did not love the shower, partially open with no curtain. Mod pod coffee was good, breakfast tacos were okay, no kolaches as advertised. There is no bar as indicated in some descriptions and our room did not have blackout curtains either. The noise factor will likely prevent me to stay again—maybe ask for a room in the center of the hotel?

A very thoughtful remodel of a traditional motel. Decor was spot on and comfortable. Linens were luxurious. Details were spot on for a college town down to records and turntable, umbrella and picnic tables outside.

Quaint hotel. Offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Only street parking is offered, which was a surprise. Once we parked we walked everywhere!

My daughter is a senior in high school and my entire family went to school at UVA. We planned a mini trip around a firmal UVA tour on Friday. We came up on Thursday to check out the campus and the night life, but we got so much more than that staying and The Little Mod Hotel! This was the cutest, chic, modern spin on 60's style motel! The beds were comfy and the shower was awesome! My daughter and I's favorite part was hands down the vinyl record player in the room. She was obsessed with it from the moment we entered the room. It is walking distance to campus and great restraunts! The Mod Pod served up some pretty neat breakfast options as well. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Little Mod Hotel has stylish, comfortable rooms. The Hotel is in a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had an excellent experience.

The retro decor in the hallway and rooms was super. I wanted to buy some of the decor items for my own home. Colorful and hip. We used the record player provided in the room! Parking structure across the road.

Brand new hotel, styled after a 60's motel. Very cute. Loved the location; immaculate condition of everything; the friendly and helpful staff; the in-room phonograph and vinyl (great 50's, 60's jazz); the Air Stream food-truck for breakfast (excellent food); and the very reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again.
