I highly recommend a stay here. The room was very clean, excellent wifi, a lovely breakfast and the staff were best of all. They were very welcoming and helpful. Arjun organised our taxi from the airport and onto our next activity and chatted with us about some places we could visit locally. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely staff, breakfast, and location
Room was a little noisy with banging. I’m sure it would have been quieter if I had moved rooms but I had access to the communal roof terrace from mine

I moved to Ananta House after a disappointing first hotel and it ended up being the best value for money I found in Kathmandu.
It’s simple but really clean and comfortable, with all the essentials like coffee, toiletries, and a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and the whole place felt calm and easy.
Nothing fancy, but everything worked — and as a solo female traveller, I felt safe and comfortable throughout. I’d definitely stay again.

The room looked exactly like the pictures (that was actually a first in Nepal). It was clean, fully equipped with mini fridge and AC. The bed was comfy, sheets were clean and the bathroom had hot water. We had a small balcony giving to the back court so noise wasn’t an issue although hotel was located on a dead end street anyway. The staff was also really nice and helpful.
