Our stay was very cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with all your cooking needs, the host was very communicative, and the place was in tip-top shape when we arrived. One thing to note - the road getting to the cabin was very muddy, and you have to drive very carefully if it rains or has precipitation on it. Definitely recommend this place to future guests!

Beautiful cabin! Abundance of wildlife! And peace. Cozy and warm with the fireplace. Area to hike is wonderful!

This is a very nice cabin, clean and well maintained. I would have given this higher marks had it not been for issues we had with the heat. We stayed in early October and needed the heat for chilly nights, however, the heat did not work, leaving us to sleep in sub-60 degree temps. We communicated with the host who seemed on top of the issue and who asked for a photo of the thermostat (it was set properly). Unfortunately, that was the last we heard from the owner and used the fireplace to keep warm the next night, which was okay but smokey even with the flue wide open. Everything else was great about this cabin and the grounds and pond are great for a walkabout. I would recommend this cabin but would warn about the heating and the abrupt end of communications by the host. Some closure would have been nice even if nothing could be done during our stay.
