Wonderful stay, very clean and modern feel. Very close to MSU which was a plus since our daughter was doing a college tour. Restaurant connected was amazing, Toscana. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent guest services, great rooms! Even accomodated my friend with a room well past midnight.

This hotel is exceptionally clean, well kept up and has everything you would need. Our room was spotless, we had an extra blanket in the closet if we needed it, plenty of towels, plenty of pillows, and did I mention how clean it was? Water pressure in the shower was good, bathroom was spotless and the provided toiletries were high quality. Front desk staff was welcoming and very quick to get us checked in/out. Literally the only complaint I have is the parking situation. If you get there early there is limited parking directly in front of the hotel. Otherwise it is $20/night to park in a lot about 500ft from the entrance. Not really what we expected after traveling all day, but it is what it is.

We stayed in lansing even tho we live only in Mason. We did so because we have one year old twins who love swimming. We were going to use the pool. As soon as we checked in , the pool was “closed” and continued to be closed even thru the next day with NO REASON for being closed given. None of the employees knew why it was closed. And nobody could tell me when it would be open. Even tho I was told it was open on the phone before I booked. I was very disappointed that I spent $150 to spend the night 10 mins from my house for basically NOTHING.

Was great stay.. had a misunderstanding with front desk clerk.. was def my fault but she handled it 10/10!! I apologized and she got me checked in. Hotel was great for what we needed for a quick MSU basketball game

Nice property. I didnt realize they make you pay $20 / night for parking in the lot. That doesnt seem right to me. They should validate if you are staying at the hotel and paying already for the room.

Enjoyable stay.

I loved our room. We had a 1 bedroom suite. Everything you need was available. Property was clean & staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight was early and hotel was able to get us into a room earlier. Will definitely stay here again.

I didn't like that there was a charge of $20 per night for parking. I don't recall seeing this on the website. Also, the smart rooms would re-adjust the temperature to 69 degrees at night if there was no movement in the room. Woke up freezing each day!

Check in process was terrible! The front desk clerk thought he was an actor who called himself Jessie Jazz Hands 🙄 He was hugely irritating not to mention incompetent! He couldn’t figure out how to charge my credit card. At first I thought it was my card so I gave him a different one. Still no luck. After about 15 minutes something finally worked. Well come to find out he charged both of my credit cards! The next day I talked to the manager and she couldn’t figure out what Jessie Jazz Hands did. I cannot dispute the charge on my credit card because it still says “pending”! But it shows on my credit card balance as an amount I owe! So far I’m out the $635. It’s been a huge hassle trying to get this fixed. Also, there is a $20 a night charge for parking. I’m fine with a parking charge when there is a valet. We had to pay to park in a lot that was far away from the hotel which was very inconvenient! It was cold and rainy which made it worse. The hotel room was laid out strange. My parents were staying in the room with my husband and I. It was a suite. They slept on the sleeper sofa, we slept in the bedroom. The bathroom was connected to the bedroom so every time my parents had to use the bathroom, they had to walk through our bedroom. It was very awkward in the middle the night! I won’t ever use this hotel again and will definitely do more research before booking!

New hotel, all very clean and modern. Good breakfast. Everybody very friendly and helpful. Points for improvement: shower had low pressure/ low water flow; could smell pot all time in my bathroom, maybe through air system.

The hotel is super nice! The front desk staff were super welcoming and told us about some good places to check out. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend.

First visit to Hyatt House is Christmas 2023 season -- economical, no-smoking hotel, safe/microwave/coffee machine in the room, clean bathroom and room, full breakfast, inside pool and gym. 4-star for Lansing. I would stay here, again. Only one reasonable request, please consider adding a combination of firm/semi-firm pillows to the bed in addition to the soft ones. At least then the sleeper can adjust to comfort by adding firmer pillows.

I was happy with my stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the employees were friendly. It was convenient to the basketball game I was in town for. The only downside for me was the paid parking, which wasn’t clear when I made my reservation on a third party site. I don’t think I will stay here again because of this. Caveat Emptor.

Great stay!

For starters, the room was very spacious and had so many amenities. We got a suite with two queen beds and it was just a really nice set up. The pool area was always clean and the breakfast area too. Breakfast options were a wide variety with lots of additional items and always delicious. But what possibly made our stay the best were the people. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to give us the best service possible and always did it with a smile. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to stay at and 10/10 will be staying here when we need a place in the area again!
