We really enjoyed our stay in Syracuse and this very convenient and well equipped apartment close to everything. The apartment is within 10 minutes walk from the train station and just across the bridge to Ortigia which is the old area. Plenty of shops and restaurants all around and some wonderful beaches for swimming within walking distance. The apartment is set back from the street with a small single flight of stairs giving easy access. The apartment is very quite as there is no apartment above and windows are all double glazed for comfort. The kitchen is small but adequate with a full sized refrigerator and induction cook top and oven. Our host was very helpful and communicative. There are two air-conditioning units and doors and windows can be opened for airflow. The bathroom is adequate with good sized shower cubicle. There is a coffee machine and pods supplied along with toast and jams. Adequate cooking utensils also available. I our opinion the apartment is very good value for the cost and location.

The entrance courtyard was very dirty with pigeon droppings and other stuff that could do with a clean and the outlook from the apartment into the courtyard very drab.

nulla in particolare
