We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Slow Village. We found the Slow Village team to be so friendly and accommodating. We had booked a comfort cabin and on inspection found that it didn't fulfil our needs. There was no wardrobe space to hang clothes unless we used the tiny upstairs bedroom accessed by a narrow staircase. That would have been a drama! So we went to reception to enquire about an upgrade to a premium cabin. This was no problem and handled so efficiently by the team. So the following day we moved into a premium cabin which was just perfect and well worth the additional spend. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and strong Wifi.
Some reviews were critical of the pool area which we found curious. We spent several afternoons by the pool and found it to be clean, tidy and a nice relaxing environment with plenty of sun loungers and gazebos. Perhaps in peak it would have been a different proposition.
Since we stayed right on the shoulder of off peak season there was no facility to purchase lunch or drinks during the day at the poolside restaurant.

"Everything - I cannot praise it more. I think one of the best holidays we've ever had... actually yes the best! The huge pool, the staff, our cabin was the smallest but we were comfortable."
