We loved the decks and the layout of the house. The location of the hot tub was set perfectly and the added screened in porch was so much fun with the pool table. The top floor with kitchen and family room was airy, bright and beach. While there isn’t an open basement floor for kids to play, the decks and flat grassy back yard gave that outlet for the kids. You get what you see!

The house is stunning and Vickie was a pleasure! We had such a great time. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, Food Lion and the dollar tree is right around the corner, and the house came stocked with games and DVD's. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, we came for Thanksgiving so that made a world of a difference! The view is just beautiful and we watched the sun rise over the ocean every morning. We have already started talking about planning our next trip 😊

Location was exactly as described, decor was perfect, kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were super comfy, living room was perfect for lounging. Plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing and eating. Pool table was great, hot tub was perfect. Some small issues during check-in, no one at fault, owner was incredibly helpful and accessible. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was as promised and we had everything we needed for a perfect week.
Will definitely return next year.

The owners are doing a really nice job with this home. It was very comfortable and stylishly decorated with everything a family would need. :) The location is perfect on a nice quiet street but still close to everything.

Beautiful house and great location. Great communication with the property owner and she immediately made sure the one small issue with the hot tub was taken care of. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Overall, the house was great! Vickie was very responsive and an excellent host. Two sets of grandparents, my husband and I, and our two young boys had a great week here. They did virtual school with no Internet issues and we were able to run back and forth to the lovely beach during all their breaks because it was so close!

We loved our 12 day stay at ‘Southern Charm!’ The location in Avon was excellent- right across the street from the beach and only a few blocks from supermarket, restaurants etc.
The home has many wonderful amenities including multiple tv’s, a sand volleyball court, mini golf course,etc. plus a memebershop access to a local spa and pool
The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is easy to move around in and prepare food for nice family meals.
We found the owners extremely helpful and responsive and we highly recommend staying here!

Home surpassed my expectations. Nice decor and well updated and maintained. Easy access to beach and very close to grocery store are other benefits! Trip to lighthouse is 15 min.

What a great home inside & out! Victoria has made everything very comfortable! We hope to stay here again in the years to come!! Made the trip wonderful! Every detail was thought of for us. The recommended restaurants, the turtles, etc.! It was all so wonderful!

This home is amazing! The location is prime, the views are great. Everything is just as pictured, but better! Victoria is responsive to any little thing you need, and so pleasant to deal with. Definitely give this an A++++!!!

Our week in Avon wouldn't have been the same had we not stayed in Southern Charm. Despite 3 days of terential rain and flooding, there was plenty to keep us busy here. This home was decorated to the tee and the views of the beach were beyond spectacular. Being right across the street from the beach access was super convenient ! We enjoyed our nightly shuffleboard tournaments and the periodic visits from the ice cream truck! This house was by far the sweetest on the block and was definitely full of southern charm! Thank you Victoria for sharing your home with us. If we ever return to Avon, your home will definitely be our first pick!!

The house was beautiful and Victoria was such a pleasure to interact with. She responded to us immediately whenever we had a question and checked in on us regularly during our stay. A great first time visit to the outer banks!

Overall had a great and easy experience and stay.
PRE-TRIP: Victoria was very welcoming and helpful with our pre-trip preparation. Well put together and detailed welcome package with advice on local things to do and what is available at the house.
TRIP: House was very clean and as described in the posting. Great view of the ocean for not being oceanfront. Very short walk to beach. Lots of things to do at the house for kids and adults.
