Parking was a little difficult, but we understand space is limited.

A hidden gem! This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms a spacious and up to date. The bed is very comfortable. Everything was clean! It was easy to get to and the staff were really helpful!

We recently booked a two-night stay here with our dog. We had confirmed this ahead of time, as the lodge has specific rooms designated for guests traveling with pets. When we arrived, we learned our original king room was unavailable because the lodge was housing firefighters who were working nearby wildfires. We completely understood and were more than happy to accommodate them.The staff graciously offered us a choice between two alternative rooms, and we chose a fantastic cabin. It featured a large master bedroom upstairs, a second bedroom downstairs with two single beds, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a cozy living area with a wood-burning fireplace. It also had chairs right outside, which was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We highly recommend this place for its charm and excellent hospitality!

We initially expected breakfast to be served on-site at the lodge. However, we learned we had to drive a few miles into town to an affiliated café. We were given a card allowing us to choose from four specific breakfast items, which were fully covered in the cost of our stay. Our first morning there was excellent—the food was very good and the service was great. Unfortunately, the second morning was a different story. An employee turned up very late, leaving just one person to run the entire café. It took an hour before we were served. While the lone employee was incredibly apologetic and the breakfast was still good, the long delay unfortunately set us back on our morning plans. Also, based on a blurb we read, we expected a nice walking path alongside the river, but that wasn't quite the case. To get there, you have to follow a pathway down to a large walkthrough pipe that goes under the road. While the river itself is scenic, the terrain is very stony and rough. Neither of us wanted to risk twisting an ankle, so we decided against exploring it further.

Shower would not hold temperature
