Heart Hotel

It was everything so great! I appreciated the history behind this place and the fact that they restored an old house keeping the soul of the area.

Centrally situated for the old town and the marina in a quiet side street. Plenty of on street parking. Beautifully restored old building but with all the mod cons inside. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and took time to ensure everything was to our liking.

Clean, in the old town, modern features

Not the fault of the hotel, but in the early hours of the morning a dog kept barking which was disruptive

Staff extremely helpful,Andrea’s gave us all the information we needed about the area eg shops,restaurants.and how to access everything in the hotel The bed and pillows were very comfortable.the bathroom facilities good,hot water and good pressure from the shower.the room was clean.

No milk in the room although coffee maker and kettle provided.a better selection of teas and coffee would be nice.good size tv although little point for us as no English channels.the sensor panel that controls all electrics was a bit of a pain.the lighting was dull and couldn’t turn it up brighter.the mirror in the bathroom lit up but only via the control panel so if you needed the light on in the bathroom through the night the extractor fan also kicked in and disturbed partner.because our room was off reception next to the main entrance you heard all the coming and goings and people’s conversations clearly
