Dirty.

- Internet was fast - The shower was warm. - Toilet was clean.

My own fault for not reading the reviews properly: - looked clean initially, but quickly saw that it just hadn't been properly cleaned - cutlery still had food on from previous guest - the bed looked clean but genuinely smelled like it had been slept in, in contrast to the towels that did smell clean and fresh. I slept on top of the towel. - bed uncomfortable, felt like the divan was broken - couldn't get the main lights to turn on - bathroom tap very loose - no coffee or anything, just a box of teabags - didn't realise no fridge - had bought some chilled food that couldn't be stored - parking was not acceptable -> essentially told to park on a bit of grass on a verge of the outside of the property on the main road. My car is a sleeper: looks plain but have spent a significant amount on the engine and suspension. Bottomed it out trying to park so if you've a sports or lowered car I'd advise caution - rubbish from previous guests in the drawers It was cheap, but given that it's around the same price as a Premier Inn if you book in advance it's just not acceptable. The house is for sale and it feels like this is a minimal effort passive income approach. Disappointing really.

Nice little room, but everything a bit jaded.

I liked the location. I liked the structure of the property. I liked the decor.

I didn't like that the inside door lock was broken. Anyone could have walked in off the street- there were security lights but that still wouldn't stop someone. No instructions on how to turn on the shower. Main lights in room didn't work. There was a dirty glass from previous guests. Wifi instructions in room different from those needed.

Prompt communication, and rectified the priority issues quickly.

Close to where we needed to be.Hood value for money.

Could have had a better clean and there were items that were not working properly.

Check reviews carefully before booking. I won’t be back. Shame as it has potential to be wonderful

Great loft space with shower

Only one towel provided on arrival.. other arrived but after they were needed No tea coffee or milk.. again enough coffee provided for 3 cups but no milk for the morning No decent mugs Bedding clean but rest of it felt used and in need of a good scrub Someone had used the loo for a #2 and toilet wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival Most importantly, the bed is broken. The mattress is way beyond its shelf life. These issues are in previous reviews. My bad for not checking thoroughly before booking. House is for sale so maybe there’s a lack of motivation to sort issues. Owners Mum very smiley 😊. And no I didn’t raise these issues at the time as am trying to avoid conflict on my time off. Listed as being in Swithland. It’s not, it’s in Cropston. Again I didn’t double check when booking.

As breakfast was not included, we brought cereal bars with us. The location was perfect for our purposes - very close to Stonehurst Farm where we were attending the National Austin Rally.

As last year we found that there was no tea towel, we brought our own this time. There appeared to be items stored e,g, a large TV screen. A smaller TV was in situ but we couldn't get it to work.

Area is lovely & feel safe & nice little room.

Cutlery & cup a bit grubby. Tried to call the owner to ask a question but still waiting on a reply! Overall totally fine.
