A beautiful whitewashed cottage with brightly painted front door in a tranquil location. Loved waking up in the morning to the sound of birds - it's an incredibly peaceful place, yet less than 10 mins from Longford town. In close proximity to some wonderful forest and lake walks. Claire, the host, was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for food in the area, and always responded promptly. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen, a large dining table, and an outside seating area at the back. It's the ideal place to get away from it all for a couple of days.

Red Rose holiday cottage exceeded our expectations. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location, great parking and the cottage had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Was lovely and clean and just what we wanted for our short break. Will certainly return again. Thank you!!!

Very nice cosy style house, quiet area, big space, suitable for all kinds of stays

Everything was perfect.

Location, the cleanest and most spacious

Sometimes it got colder, and we couldn't use the radiators because of the fear of overusing the oil, but the fireplace was very helpful if we managed to get wood and stuff.
