Fantastic location with beautiful views and no noise other than wildlife. Great walks as advised by the host Lee.
Accommodation is amazing with lots of lovely touches, everything you could need is provided. Outside space is great and where we spent all our time up to 11 at night watching the stars, eating, bubbling away and at outdoor firepit. Brekkie outside as sun came up… amazing few days !

A wonderfully welcoming place to stay. It was cosy and comfortable and Melanie gave us a warm and friendly welcome on arrival.
The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well.
There was plenty of space and it was very well appointed.
Lovely to have a coffee machine and an air fryer.
The garden and hot tub made it extra special.
The Carthouse is well positioned for exploring Fife.
The upstairs bathroom is Jack and Jill style so you need to co-ordinate if you are staying with friends.
There is a second bathroom, with a bath, but that’s downstairs at the far end of the property.

The property was well maintained and clean. Plenty of amenities and close to local villages. The property was stunning and had a good outdoor area.
Although beautiful, we only had access to one bedroom despite booking under the assumption it was a 2 bedroom property. We were shown property at check in however, the household appliances for instance the hot tub, thermostat and wood burner could’ve been explained more to get full use out of this. Check out procedures were not explained at all and we were confused about how to go about this with little contact. Messaged and phoned host to check out but received no reply.
