Very welcoming and attentive staff. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely accommodations with a warm and relaxed ambiance.
For longer stays, perhaps more drawer space in the bedroom would be appreciated.

What we liked ❤️
* Beautiful view from the room.
* Very dog-friendly — our dog was provided with a bed, treats, a toy and bowls
What we didn’t like 👎
* Overpriced breakfast experience. We didn’t even finish it. The sausage was average, there was only one egg with a runny centre, the bacon was okay, and the black pudding was not tasty at all.
* We were not told that breakfast was £25 per person — neither at check-in nor at the restaurant. We only found out afterwards.
* We were told the restaurant was fully booked, but there were clearly tables available when we passed by later.
* The staff were overly intrusive and attentive. This may be normal for some guests, but for us, it felt like too much and was quite uncomfortable.
* Overall, we paid £269 for the room and dog, plus £50 for breakfast, and felt the experience was overpriced and not worth the money.
