Embassy Arriaga Private Elegance Rooms in Stylish Shared Apartment

Very nice appartment, which is cleaned every day. There is no humidity (to which I'd be particularly sensitive). The neighborhood is quite funky and it's a different experience from staying right in the center of town.

There's no proper common area apart from the kitchen, which is a bit of a shame. Also no proper storage room for luggage. It's rather noisy - because the apartment is located next to large streets. One of the rooms seems to have a lock that's difficult to lock and so I was woken up almost every night when the people staying there went to the bathroom. It would be great to fix a little hook to that door which would make locking and unlocking the room much less noisy.. Also - a half-hour walk to the center of the city. I enjoyed that but might not be suitable for everybody.

I had a single room with a view overlooking the port which was great. But even if you don't have one of these, you get the view from the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped so I could cook, the rubbish/ recycling was taken out regularly, and the bathrooms were always clean. Having three bathrooms (two with showers) was useful. The hosts, although not on site, were very responsive. Great value for money.

Unfortunately someone was smoking in the room next to me and the smell spread through the whole property, but there's nothing the hosts could have done about that.
