Luang Phasouk Hotel

My room was a decent size as I was traveling alone. It was on a quiet street, so I did not hear any noise at all. What I liked most about the place was that it is central to many temples and a short walking distance to the night market, Mt. Phousi and a ton of shops and local restaurants. The bus stop to Kuang Si waterfall is about a 15-20 minute walk (in Thatluang Park and is about 50k for one way-way cheaper than booking privately). The staff was very nice and accommodating and kept my room clean.

If you like firm mattresses like I do, be advised the beds are very soft and bouncy. The bathroom was clean, but had a few ants as it was a bit hot outside. Also, if you want to see the monk procession early in the morning, they do lock the doors at night and no one is at the desk. It was dark, so I did not see they left the key at the front desk, so just look there and you can let yourself out.

Convenient to everything, 5-10 minutes walk to local stores, restaurants. Staff are very accommodating, friendly, helpful. Also the WIFI is really good and stable.

I got the standard room which had everything just a bit small but had everything I needed!

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Luang Phasouk Hotel. The hotel is in an amazing location, especially if you’re visiting Luang Prabang for the first time. Everything is close by, including the night market, restaurants, cafés, and many of the main attractions, which made exploring the city very easy and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. A special mention to the receptionist who works there — he was incredibly polite, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. His friendly attitude and excellent service really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luang Prabang and would happily stay here again.

Nothing

The location.

The rooms were dirty, we found spider webs in the room. The towels were dirty with stains (apparently blood stains). The breakfast was lack of variety, really poor.
