It’s really all about Abdullha and his family. The space is comfortable, and I have no complaints besides the occasional donkey braying in the middle of the night. But what makes this place special is the people. I went there expecting a simple hotel, but what I got was a Bedouin experience. After a long day of hiking around Petra, Abdullah’s mom and brothers and I went out to the mountains where we had a traditional Bedouin mandi dinner, and watched the sunset. These folks are happy and fun, and eager to share their way of life with you. You won’t find another homestay like this. Highly recommend. A thousand thanks!!!

Perfect, clean, spacious, very comfortable bed, hot water in the shower. The family takes you in as if you belong to the family, show you around and introduce to everyone. They made me and another couple who stayed in the house an amazing dinner in open fire out in the mountains, we watched the sunset from the camel tent. I highly recommend the place, very authentic, close to the backdoor of Petra. Thank you Abdullha, and hug your little brothers for me.

Gorgeous, clean and new property in the heart of the Bedouin village, right next to Petra. Abdullah and his family cooked us the best food we had on our trip through Jordan. We were so welcome and felt the most immersed into the local culture here. We made friends for life… I will be back for sure.
