The property is located within the heart of Altamura's historical quarter, a few minutes walk from the cathedral and other sights. The apartment is spacious, the main room divided into a bedroom and a sitting room, with a large sofa. The other room has a kitchen table and a fridge, which is useful. Hot water for the sink and shower is readily available. Opening windows and a balcony -style door provide ventilation, and a fan is placed in the bedroom. The apartment is uncluttered, clean and comfortable. It is clear that the renovation of these rooms has been done thoughtfully.

A suggestion: perhaps a small coffee table could be placed near the sofa, so that guests could relax with a drink.. The sequence of lights as operated by the switches takes some getting used to.

In the heart of the interesting part of Altamura, which creates a challenge to find when your host speaks no other language but Italian. GPS was our hero. The place was in a cool old building, and refreshed with a new bathroom and very nice Smart TV. That was it. Echos throughout the rooms. Plastic cups nothing else, no coffee machine (reviews have asked for this for years!) Wine opener… do not think so. Towels… like sandpaper. Final insult… we had to beg to have the temperature turned up from 68 degrees in November. He did remotely… only to turn it back to the original temperature the next morning for our wake up.
